Inspiration: Often we are lost, utterly completely lost. But the The Truth, The Answer is as as large as life, filling the entire sky, but we don't see it. Why because we have turned our backs to the sun. Envy, frustration, cleverness, greed are the usual suspects.
The Mahabindu is deliberately alive with deep reds, indicative of how the truth is easy to find but difficult to grasp.

To the painting's left, the red mahabindu shaded with black represents the knowledge, be it scriptural or experiential. To the right the sanskrit matra 'Nuh', {the bija mantra of the 3rd eye} represents understanding. Above we see a dark broken line through which a figure climbs through. And the psychic structure in which we live may resemble rickety century old buildings with curious fire escapes and secret ladders.
